Mystic Series 2
Based on New Zealand author Stacy Gregg’s bestselling book series Pony Club Secrets, MYSTIC is an award-winning family action adventure with an ecological theme and a supernatural twist.
The Kauri Point wild herd has brought fame and business to the town. Unfortunately, it’s also brought vast numbers of inconsiderate, free-camping tourists into the forest. There’s rubbish everywhere, unattended campfires and the Māori medicine garden has been destroyed.
Alex Zarkoff, a well-known Silicon Valley entrepreneur, arrives with his big ideas and even bigger bank account. Alex spots potential in the local forest, and his ambitious plans seem to be the ideal solution to the town’s tourist problems. Alex’s wayward brother, Gabe, forms an instant connection with Issie, much to the horror of Dan.
Meanwhile, Tom is in financial trouble and the kids throw themselves into saving the stables. Tom invites Dulmoth Park, their biggest rivals, to move in temporarily. But when Tom’s stables licence is suspended after an inexplicable accident, Dulmoth Park take over.
Issie has started seeing Mystic again, but this time her visions are different. She realises Mystic’s showing her the future as well as the past, and she fears someone close is in grave danger.
Can Issie change the course of the future her visions seem to be predicting? And can the gang untangle Tom’s problems before they lose their beloved stables for good?
